The first SF68 built in the UK!

We now have 2 Springfree models on display at our Windlesham showsite thanks to Steve, our assistant Ops manager. Due to my injured leg Steve got started alone on his first SF68 and in a little under an hour he had finished. Not bad for a first solo attempt Steve, well done. Here's his progress in pictures.

Now, whilst Steve loves building Springfree trampolines he is not the most enthusiastic jumper. We did however manage to convice him to brave the sleet and have a go.

The results were absolutely astonashing. I had been told by the guys at Springfree that this was a good jump but it really was impressive.

We really love the all black frame and black enclosure rods and it is suprising how you forget it it is actually a square.

Don't forget that this isn't the biggest Springfree in the range. We also offer the SF80 which is 20% larger than this one. I can't wait to have a bounce on that one.

As an aside, the climbing frame in the background of the last picture used to be owned by one of the most famous hollywood actors. Any ideas? - answers on a postcard ...... He comes from quite close to where Springfree Trampolines were invented.

SF80 - 13' Square

It is hard to describe how large this trampoline is. In terms of surface area it offers the same square footage as a 16' round trampoline. I know there is nothing of that size available but it does give you a feel of the huge jumping area on offer.

The SF80 is suitable for all jumper sizes up to 100kg and is certainly more suited to larger back gardens. The jumping surface area is 145 sqaure feet (sorry to mix the units) which is around 30% larger than the SF68 or SF90.

This trampoline has to be seen to be believed so if you have the space and budget you won't find a better, bigger bounce than the SF80.

Club Sponsored Bounceathon

Energetic members of sister trampolining and gymnastics clubs in Horley and Caterham enjoyed a bouncing bonanza which raised more than £1,000.

Members of Springfit in Horley and Pointers in Caterham, both part of the Saturn V Trampoline and Gymnastics Association, teamed up for a 24-hour bounceathon.

More than 100 club members took part in the event in Caterham.

Two trampolines were continuously in use in the sponsored fundraiser in aid of buying new equipment including pre-school gym soft play gear, and asymmetric and high bars.

Some of the gymnasts took on individual challenges too, including setting club records for moves and skills.

One coach achieved 4,000 consecutive back bounces over a 70-minute period at 4am.

Adam Reynolds of Springfit said: “Fundraising can have its challenges, but this event is by far the most challenging feat the clubs have ever attempted.”

He said: “There was a lot of positive feedback from beaming club members and families who came to show their support and help the teams out.

“The event ended with a roared countdown to a huge celebration by all those who had helped out.

“No doubt it was then followed by a long sleep for those who had been awake for around 36 hours.”

Well done to all involved from the team at Rainbow.

So TV is not all bad!

There is nothing better for kids than getting outdoors and playing on their Springfree™ Trampoline, but lets be honest we all need some down time. As a parent you can sometime’s feel a little guilty about your kids being in front of the box, but as research shows its not all bad.

Professor Anderson says children aged two and over may benefit from watching television but it depends on whether the content of the program matches the age of the child.

Research shows that educational television, such as Sesame Street, helps children learn the alphabet, learn to count and teaches them about good social habits (such as waiting your turn) and broadens their vocabulary and understanding of the world.

SF72 - 10' round Springfree

The first of the new Springfree trampolines which have just landed in the UK is the SF72 and it is sure to be one of our biggest sellers in 2010. The SF72 is a 10' round Springfree Trampoline which is equivalent in size to a traditional 12' spring based one.

The SF72 is ideal for the whole range of jumpers and offers a maximum active jumping weight limit of 100kg. The SF72 offers a medium to soft bounce which will satisfy even the most active of bouncers.

The SF72 retails at £595 plus delivery and don't forget there is an installation service available in many parts of the UK.
