2010 website now live

It's that time of year where we finish off a lot of the projects we have been working on over the quieter months and yesterday, one of the main projects went live. This year has seen a complete overhaul of the Springfree pages of the Rainbow website bringing together the themes we have been working on with our off line marketing. We are very lucky to have our own inhouse IT department and Andy Bents, our IT Manager has, as usual, excelled himself with a new and improved website brought online without a glitch. Great job Andy!

The new website also launches our new range of wooden Playhouses, The Woodland Range. There are 3 models so far but we hope to extend it in the future.

As far as Springfree Trampoline goes, you can now buy all models online, including the new revolutionary square SF68 and SF80.

Of course our product range wouldn't be complete without the amazing Rainbow Play Climbing Frames. This years range is certainly the best yet so I am confident there is a Rainbow there for most gardens.

AAA Sports

Its good to see people being proactive and it certainly seems that AAA Sports are a trampoline club moving in the right direction. They started in 2007 running a small trampoline session at the local sports centre to 23 members and they are now the 2nd largest trampoline club in the North of England with a continually growing membership of over 150 jumpers.

They currently have 10 coaches, including 2 senior trampoline coaches, 1 senior cheerleading coach and 2 coaches qualified to work with disabilities, as well as a trampoline coaching tutor.

On the subject of websites I we are hoping to launch the new Rainbow website on Monday complete with all the new Rainbow Climbing Frames and Springfree trampolines available for 2010.

Is the housing market hotting up?

Over the past couple years we have seen, at Rainbow, a significant reduction in the number of Rainbow Play Systems that we are moving from one house to another. This is of course because fewer people have moved house during this time.

We are, however, starting to see things change and we have never been as busy as we are now moving Rainbow Play Systems from one house to another. What is interesting is that we are starting to see people wanting their Springfree Trampoline moving as well. This is something I always stress to people when talking to them about our products. They are making an investment that will be used and used and used for the kids lifetime as kids so it is crucial to make the right choice.

Let's be honest for a minute. You could go out this afternoon and buy an 'El Cheapo' trampoline and little Johny (aged 6) would think you're the best parents in the world. The problem is that when Johny is 10 and baby sister, Florence is 3 you will most likely being trying to decide whether to simply bin the tattered, rusty, squeaking, wobbly trampoline in the garden and risk breaking the little darlings hearts or is it maybe safe enough, if they're careful, for a little longer.

'El Cheapo' trampolines do not last. Springrfee Trampolines do! They are the next generation and are changing the way people view the industry. I only wish I'd been clver enough to have invented them!

The first SF68 built in the UK!

We now have 2 Springfree models on display at our Windlesham showsite thanks to Steve, our assistant Ops manager. Due to my injured leg Steve got started alone on his first SF68 and in a little under an hour he had finished. Not bad for a first solo attempt Steve, well done. Here's his progress in pictures.

Now, whilst Steve loves building Springfree trampolines he is not the most enthusiastic jumper. We did however manage to convice him to brave the sleet and have a go.

The results were absolutely astonashing. I had been told by the guys at Springfree that this was a good jump but it really was impressive.

We really love the all black frame and black enclosure rods and it is suprising how you forget it it is actually a square.

Don't forget that this isn't the biggest Springfree in the range. We also offer the SF80 which is 20% larger than this one. I can't wait to have a bounce on that one.

As an aside, the climbing frame in the background of the last picture used to be owned by one of the most famous hollywood actors. Any ideas? - answers on a postcard ...... He comes from quite close to where Springfree Trampolines were invented.
